Easy Kimchi (막김치 만드는 방법)


Hello everyone!! today I made Mak Kimchi AKA Easy Kimchi. (막김치)
I made "포기김치" Kimchi the other day and mak kimchi is actually easier to make. 
Easy Kimchi is pre-cut cabbages marinated in spicy sauce. The ingredients are same and but easy kimchi is actually easier to make and store. Since they are pre-cut, I love easy kimchi! I am going to show you how to make Mak Kimchi!! LETS GET STARTED!! :)

Cut cabbages in half.
(you do not need to wash)


 cut the root of the cabbage. we are not going to need that.



 cut them in 1-2 inch pieces





 put them in the big bowl and sprinkle salt on them every layer of cut cabbages





 add water to the cabbages until cabbages are soaked
( YOU NEED TO TOSS THEM EVER 30 MIN or 1 HOUR ) 










if your cabbages are bendy,, they are ready for there shower!!






※ PREPARE FOR SPICY SAUCE ! ※










 blend all the ingredients together








 add 2 cups of red pepper flakes




mix them well





when your cabbage is ready, wash them in the running water at least 3-4 times. 
Then drain them for at least 30 minutes













add all the ingredients together and mix them well. 
( Try to toss them when you mix them )
